Discover the elegance of Korean folk art through the 장미와 꽃병 – the painted vase.


In this multi-week course, we explore the timeless beauty of Korean folk art through the elegance of painted vases.
Over two weeks, you will:

  • Learn traditional techniques for shading and brushwork
  • Paint a blue-and-white vase, 장미와 꽃병  on hand-prepared Korean paper
  • Work step by step with guidance, gaining both confidence and skill
     

📍 Duration: 2 weeks (one session per week, 3 hours each)
💡 All materials included – you will take home your own finished Minhwa vase painting.

In the third week, we continue our vase painting by adding roses in full bloom. This step brings colour, depth, and symbolism to your artwork – transforming the vase into a complete folk painting.


Designed as an extension of the 2-week vase course, this additional session lets you practice layering techniques and work with vibrant pigments on your already-prepared canvas.
